Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 by Chamlija

A refined CS from a reputable source

Chamlija is a name you need to know. Is it because they are literally the closest winery to Istanbul? Or perhaps that the winery owners also have amazing artistic talent to go along with their taste? Or is it because they were chosen the AWC Vienna 2021 Best National Producer for the Year for Turkey? For all these reasons and more this is a label you need to know about.

This CS is one of their more attainable based on price. The wine has a deep magenta color with excellent saturation implying very good fruit extraction. The 🍒Fruit is black cherry and raspberry

The 🍃Spice: pepper With a body that is medium plus. The Oak is medium deriving from French and Hungarian barrels . With solid medium 🍁Tannins. The noted acidity and high acidity at 15% are balanced. I really like this and recommend it.
